Arielle Capuano centers her practice on divorce, custody, and family law matters, with a focus on children’s issues. Her family law experience ranges from uncontested divorces to complex divorces, high asset divorces, private divorces, marriage contracts, adoptions, paternity, custody, modifications, enforcement and contempt, relocation, and more.
Associations & Honors
Arielle advocates for children in and out of the courtroom. Arielle serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Voices for Children of Broward County, and was honored in 2016 for her contributions as a Founding Board Member. Through her work with Voices, Arielle has effectuated positive change in the lives of thousands of local at-risk children, and regularly presents to the community about this important issue. As a result of her commitment to the legal profession and her local community, Arielle was named as a Super Lawyer Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for 2016 and 2017.
Arielle actively participates in and supports other local and state-wide charitable and professional associations. Arielle is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, where she serves on its Rules and Forms Committee, Litigation Support Committee and the Membership Committee. Arielle is also active in the Broward County Bar Association, where she serves on the Social, Sports & Goodwill Committee, and the Broward County Women Lawyer’s Association, where she serves on its Women Leaders in the Law Committee. Arielle is also involved with the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, Women in Business & Law, Thompson Reuters Law Firm Council, Jewish Federation of Broward County Attorney’s Division, Downtown Fort Lauderdale Civic Association, Generation Dream (Deliver the Dream), Big Brothers Big Sisters 6 Degrees, and Rising Voices for Children of Broward County.
Arielle understands the time-sensitive and delicate nature of family law issues, especially when dealing with such significant matters as relocation, impaired parents, parental kidnapping, supervised visitation, and substance abuse. She takes pride in her ability to navigate a client through difficult and emotionally-charged issues, while always remaining focused on what is best for the client and the client’s children. Arielle offers her clients an unwavering commitment to professionalism, representing her clients’ interests fiercely from the inception of the litigation, through discovery, negotiations, mediation, and trial.
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Arielle obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising & Public Relations from the University of Central Florida. Arielle received her Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law, where she was actively involved in the leadership of the Board of Advocates, the Negotiation Team, and other student associations. Before co-founding Levinson & Capuano, Arielle gained significant practical and courtroom experience at a small family law firm and then a general practice law firm.
