FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, OCTOBER 17, 2019—Arielle Capuano, founding Partner Attorney and Mediator at Levinson & Capuano, LLC, has been named a 2019 SHE-roe Honoree by WestCare Florida, in recognition of her continued dedication to improving the lives of children and families across South Florida, through her work as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Voices for Children of Broward County and other community efforts. WestCare Florida will honor the 2019 SHE-roes Honorees at a luncheon, which will include a fashion show sponsored by Macy’s, benefitting the Village South Families in Transition (FIT) Program, on October 19, 2019 at the Weston Hills Country Club in Weston, Florida.
Arielle Capuano has focused the majority of her law practice on resolving matrimonial and family law issues and protecting children. With a passion for child advocacy and healing her community, Arielle serves as a Volunteer Guardian ad Litem (child advocate), and as the Chair of the Board of Directors for Voices for Children of Broward County, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to ensure that every abused, neglected, and abandoned child in Broward County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial resources are available for each child’s accompanying health, educational, and social needs. Through her work with Voices, the Guardian ad Litem Program, and other community organizations, Arielle has helped effectuate positive change in the lives of thousands of local at-risk children.

The 2019 SHE-roes Fashion Show & Luncheon is presented by WestCare Florida, a part of the WestCare Foundation, a national nonprofit organization offering a broad spectrum of behavioral health and human services in 19 states, four U.S. territories, and three countries. Proceeds from the 2019 SHE-roes Fashion Show & Luncheon will benefit The Village South, a residential and outpatient addiction treatment center for pregnant women and mothers with children, whose goal is to uplift the human spirit by providing the skills and support for individuals to achieve their own goals and transform their lives. The Village South Families in Transition (FIT) Program is a comprehensive, award-winning residential drug prevention and treatment program for substance abusing pregnant women and mothers with children.
