“Over the years, in my capacities as an Attorney, Guardian ad Litem, and Voices Board Member, I have seen the many challenges that children face when they are removed from their homes and placed in state care,” said Attorney Capuano. “Each child is really just looking to feel safe, loved, and to know someone cares. At Voices, we try to show the children just that, by providing life-changing experiences and services when they need it the most. We are excited for the opportunity to share our reflections of Voices’ impact on the community, all while raising much needed funds for a critical cause,” Attorney Capuano continued.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit abused, abandoned, and neglected children in the care of the State, in Broward County. Tickets for the Cocktail Reception are $150 per person and sponsorship opportunities start at $500. ABOUT VOICES FOR CHILDREN OF BROWARD COUNTY: Voices for Children of Broward County’s mission is to ensure that every abused, neglected and abandoned child in Broward County has a court-appointed Guardian ad Litem and that financial resources are available for each child’s accompanying health, educational, and social needs. To accomplish this mission, Voices works with children who have an open and active dependency court case to meet each of their essential needs during this transitional period and to give them a voice throughout the entire court proceedings by working with the appointed volunteer Guardian ad Litem. Voices’ programs provide these children with someone who makes them feel normal, safe, and cared about and removes barriers so these children can have a happy normal childhood.
