Fort Lauderdale, Florida based Levinson & Capuano, LLC, is proud to support Voices for Children of Broward County (“Voices”) in its Annual Soaring for Children Cocktail Reception and Dinner – Somewhere Over the Rainbow, recognizing Arielle Capuano, Founding Partner Attorney at Levinson & Capuano, along with other community leaders, for their impact on local children in need. This year, over 200 friends and supporters of Voices came together to raise record-breaking funds, ensuring a brighter future for local children in foster care. Voices’ sold-out Soaring event featured whimsical décor reminiscent of the Emerald City, delicious cuisine, a premium open bar, a luxurious silent auction, a heartwarming, inspirational program, captivating performances, “Glinda’s Bubble Pop,” and other fun installations.
At “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” Voices CEO Erica Herman shared some highlights and milestones about her journey with Voices and expressed gratitude for the many individuals that have stood by Voices over the years, recognizing several friends and supporters of the organization in the crowd that evening. Voices paid tribute to the event’s esteemed honoree, Homeinc, remarking that their unwavering dedication has been a guiding light for countless local children. Voices presented a special acknowledgement to Brett and Roby Tannenbaum of The Venue for their ongoing support of Voices, and also honored Chief Program Officer Lammy Askar for her passion and commitment to ensuring the children being served always have opportunities to thrive.
In commemorating CEO Erica Herman’s 10th Anniversary with Voices, she introduced a new award, the Wings of Hope Award, recognizing those who have consistently provided support, encouragement, and opportunities, acting as metaphorical wings that bring hope and positive change in the lives of the children. Arielle, along with founding board members Amy Goldin, Rich Pruitt, Bob Kopf, and Donna Inglis, were the first recipients to receive this new award, for their “courage and commitment” having laid the foundation for Voices. Erica remarked, “Five extraordinary individuals… have been my rock, my guiding light, and my unwavering support system throughout this journey. Their dedication, leadership, and unwavering confidence in me has played a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of Voices. Their visionary guidance and tireless efforts have not only helped me navigate through the challenges, but also have propelled us toward our mission. Without their support, Voices wouldn’t be where it is today.”
Arielle is the Immediate Past Chair and Founding Member of the Board of Directors for Voices. Arielle and Founding Partner Attorney Cary Levinson have been involved with Voices since 2011 in various capacities, and Levinson & Capuano is a long-time sponsor and supporter of Voices programming and events, remaining dedicated to improving the quality of life for children in South Florida.
